How to Activate Verizon Galaxy Tab

Looks like Sprint is doing the $499 off contract everywhere now.

Its on the Best Buy site.

Just purchased the tab on sprint with no service.(yes I paid full price) it keeps asking me to activate the sprint service. I dont need or want the sprint service as all I need is the wifi right now (but wanted the option for later)
what am I missing by not activating? any downside other then sprint service?

Doesn't like this works any longer. Just bought a Galaxy Tab from Best Buy without a contract and the up/down method is not working.

Okay, it just worked. You have to be on the language screen.
