As has been mentioned in other posts, the DND in One UI lacks many features. All I want to do is allow WhatsApp messages to come through when DND is on. i.e. as an exception. Is there any way to do this?
EDIT: Just tested and they are coming through. Must be treated as messages. Which suits me fine. However, what if I want to allow a different app to come through, such as BBC news?

For me, I use Silence Premium. That app supplants the OneUI, allows multiple schedules and allows by-app exceptions.

Thanks for that. I've seen Silence Premium mentioned on here elsewhere (for another limitation to do with scheduling). Must be good. I'll check it out
Not happy about Samsung's approach to DND though. They've deliberately downgraded it. Probably with the advent of Focus Time - a feature I find ridiculous. If I don't want to use my phone, I just don't pick up. Why would I want to brick it? They could easily have added the option (in DND or FT) to block just notifications AND/ OR block the app itself.
