Hi
I'm running the gmail app on a Samsung A3 2017.
The headings in the SENT email box have changed so that they always show who sent them, which of course is me in every case. It would be more useful if the heading showed who i sent it to. I'm sure it used to do that. How do I change it back ?
Thanks in advance.

The From: heading is you. The To: header is who you sent it to. Some email apps show all headers, some show some headers, some show no headers, some let you choose the ones to show. Unless the app you're using is the last type, there's nothing you can do about which headers it shows - that's written into the code by the developer.

Hi Rukbat. Thanks for that reply. Maybe I didn't explain the problem clearly. When I open the sent email it clearly shows who it is to and who it is from. However the list of sent emails only shows who it is from. This is totally useless as, by definition, all emails in my sent email box are from me ! The app I am using is the gmail app from google Inc. Interestingly I have cured the problem by uninstalling updates. It looks like one of the updates introduced the problem

Do you need to keep the sent emails in the "sent" folder?
I prefer to keep the sent emails in the same folder as the original email, which should then show the same headers for all emails.
