Hi I just recently bought a tmobile Galaxy s5 off of craigslist and it turns out its blacklisted. I heard that if its unlocked you can still use it on At&t because of the different towers. The page said blacklisted At&t phones are no good but blacklisted Tmobile phones could be used on At&t networks such as H2o etc.. So I purchased an unlock code and I used it and it said unlock successful but I put in a Metro Pcs sim card from my friends phone and whenever I try to make a call it says unregistered on network. Maybe it has to do with Metro Pcs running on Tmobile towers. Anyways is there any way I can check if my phone is unlocked?

A blacklisted phone is one that was reported as lost or stolen. You should contact T-Mobile and let them know you bought the phone from someone and it's blacklisted. You should also contact the local police and consider reporting the seller for selling stolen merchandise. You should also turn in the phone to the proper authorities, since you don't want to be accused of possessing stolen merchandise yourself.
