How To Cure Lag and Freezing Email?

Coming from a Verizon Blackberry 9930, I have used the S3 for nearly two weeks now and often find the keyboard just freezes whilst typing on Stock Email App. Then after 3-8 Seconds it releases itself and inserts all the missed letters.

I tried typing a few fast Emails on my Son's T-Mobile S3 and same issue. Also when moving quickly from Message screen to Email to Phone, it sometimes hangs for a few secs.

I read somewhere in earlier posts about changing some Setting in Developer Options that speeds up the device - maybe something in Animations?

Any advice on getting rid of slight lag issues?

Me too on the annoying email lag. I'm using SwiftKey3. I've not tried it with the stock app.

So is Swiftkey the culprit? I thought it was the stock Email App
