How to differentiate between email notification and message notification?

On my new S5, my new emails and new messages are getting the same notification sound. I would like to differentiate between the two with a different tone for email and a different tone for message. I can't figure out how to do that...or maybe I can't do that? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

There is a global notification sound that can be set under settings>sound>notifications that will be used for all notifications. You can also set notifications individually by app as long as it has that supporting setting, email and messaging do offer that. You can open the app and then open the settings within the app or open settings (under default settings view) scroll down to the applications heading and then look for the email and messages icon, tap there to enter the apps settings and look for notifications, that's where you change it for the app.

Thank you! You reply gave me just what I was looking for. I am not using the Samsung email app, but using the gmail app, but using Samsung messaging...so I changed the tone in the messaging app and left gmail as default notification sound. Thanks, again.
