Android Central Question

As of the Oreo upgrade, I get annoying notifications when my battery is charged:
Android System
Info
Battery fully charged.

I can't find anywhere to disable this. I'm sure it's here somewhere, but nothing is jumping out at me. Can anyone give me a hint.

It's not in there - you can root the phone, install Xposed, and install the Notification Clean module. Then you can keep any specific notification, or all notifications fron an app, from appearing.

I was able to turn off the "battery fully charged" notification without rooting. I am also on Oreo and after the upgrade is when I started getting those notifications. Here are the steps:

1. Go to system settings -> notifications
2. Go to advanced.
3. Click the action bar menu (3 dots in upper right corner)
4. Click "show system apps"
5. Go to "System UI"
6. Click "Battery Full" and turn off the App icon badges and set importance to low.

That should do it. It worked for me.

I am on OREO too, but when I follow that I can only see 'Low Battery' slider, so how do I disable it now?

Hi,

My tablet upgraded to "P" a day or two ago. Now, when the tablet is at 100%, I get an illuminated message on the screen that stays there as long as the tablet is plugged in.

Since I use my tablet as a sound device next to my bed, this is very bad. :) The light is bright enough to keep me awake unless I never turn my head.

I've tried everything in this thread to disable it, but it seems the designers at Samsung have decided this is such a good idea that everyone should be stuck with it.

Has anyone else seen this? Has anyone found a solution other than putting electrical tape on the screen?
