How to disable notifications from gmail + outlook for an outlook email?

My email addresses are both hosted on Outlook (I came from Windows phone, but even before then, my email address was hosted there). I manage groups and my contacts with it so I added it as an exchange account.

That worked but one thing that is really annoying is the double notifications. It's annoying to get a notification from Gmail, and Outlook for the same emails. Does anyone with an outlook email know how to deal with this, or is it just something I would have to deal with?

You can disable notifications for Gmail; however, that will disable all email notifications even those that are not duplicates. All I can think of is to create a filter for Gmail sending all @outlook emails to and turning off the notifications for that label. Might work, but not sure if it'll catch all the emails you are trying to receive. Let us know if it helps or if you have any other questions.

You're right, I tried to do that yesterday and I found myself not getting any emails today. I think I'll just deal with it. I don't have a gmail email address, so I would have to make one to do the filter thing, and at the moment, I can't be bothered.
