How to download large app with low internal storage

Hello,
The application I am trying to download(final fantasy IX) says it takes up around 4gb of space, but requires over 8gb to download. I just got the moto g 3rd gen. which only has around 5gb of internal storage. I'm pretty new to android, so i figured it could go onto my 16gb micro sd card, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Any way around this? Thanks for the help!

Try some App called AppMgr III out. It helps to move Apps from internal storage to sd-card.

I installed that, but it doesnt seem to have an option to send the application directly to an sd card

You can't download to the SD card, downloads go to internal storage.

Are you sure the app needs 8GB to download? If it does, that eliminates a lot of phones. Maybe it needs 8MB to download?

The size on the Store says 1.7gb so confused here.
