How to fix a security patch failure on brand new Moto G Stylus 2021, Android 10.

[Android Central Question]

New Moto G stylus (2021) with Android 10, received via Amazon 8/8. Security patch is from Oct 2020. A Jan 2021 security patch is trying to install, can and is downloaded, but consistently fails at around 69%. Suggestions?
