My Nexus 4 has started showing my photo thumbnails with loud psychedelic colors (intense magenta, green, blue etc) and large horizontal stripes. The photos look ok when I open them up but even when I transfer the pictures to my computer the thumbnail view is totally distorted. Any idea how to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Does that happen with any photo you take now? It sounds like something is corrupted. Try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-13858
