Hey everyone... Last night I finally found out how to get Clockwork Recovery working on your tiumph. It is very simple to do.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure phone is unplugged then turn it off.

2. Hold down the Power button and Volume down.

3. It will say on phone "Incoming Download Mode"
"polling, get oemsbl_mode = 1" and will keep looping that.
Just ignore it

4. Now plug your phone into your computer. There will be a removable device with storage that is called MOBILE (F:)

5. Click on MOBILE (F:) and you will see a file called "image" .

6. Open up "image" and there will be a file called "recovery.img"

7. Copy and paste "recovery.img" to your desktop.

8. Now delete the "recovery.img" from the "image" folder.

9. Now download https://www.dropbox.com/s/lrlk18knvebtl3y/CWM4.0.1.4recovery.img (NEW LINK)

Rename file inside to recovery.img

10. Now move the recovery.img from the file you downloaded into the "image" folder.

11. Now take out your battery.

12. Now press and hold Power, Volume Up, and Volume Down

13. You will boot into recovery :)

REMEMBER THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL SO MAKE A BACK UP

Hope you enjoy

Since its very experimetal i dont need to try to flash Motorola Droid roms on here right. Cause a Motorola Droid rom uses .img boot, bpsw, cache, cust, data, misc, system.img and nandroid.md5. So will it mess up my phone?

yes dont flash any roms except ones that are officicially for the moto triumph

You can flash ANY roms you want, as long as you have a nandroid backup. You'll be fine doing basically whatever you want to the phone just as long as you backed it all up.

If I tried to edit a rom and flash it could it brick my phone? Like one from the OV or DroidX the new gingerbread one.

you should probably add to rename the new recovery image to recovery, or just change the name of the file

Not sure why but after step 11 I cant get my phone to turn back on. I think the battery being taken out could be an issue but batteries are wireless right? :D

Ok so I can boot to recovery now, great, so now how do I get Rom Manager to recognize that Ive already got it flashed...still asks me to choose amoungst a list of phones that arent mine...
