[How to] Flash Full package DL09 and Stock DI01 via Odin

Not sure if it's related at all but I flashed to DL09 to fix my goof with titanium backup integrating updates into my ROM. Everything is smooth and good but when I go to add friends from facebook, I inevitably get the error "process andoird.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly." I've read stuff in other places that say it's related to contact's birthdays who didn't put in a year but I never saw this issue before I flashed back to stock DL09. Just a flook that I didn't or what? Guess I could delete those contacts. Only reason i have the facebook links is for the contact pictures...

My phone has been saying that the USB/Debugging is connected these past couple of days and it has had a hard time charging prior to that. I'm attempting to flash back to stock, but with the battery removed and holding down the volume button, nothing is happening. Drivers are installed, Odin is up.. everything should be good to go. It's just.. nothing is happening. Help?

Got it to work. I had to leave the battery in and plug it in. I started the download to my phone with my phone up and running, battery in, just to see what would happen. Odin wouldn't do it, got "<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..". Somehow that enabled me to shut the phone off and throw it in target mode, and the download completed successfully. It didn't solve my issue with not charging/"usb connected" all the time, but.. my phone is now completely stock (forgot how awful it was lol) and in a returnable state. Thanks for posting the tutorials!!

A big fat Thanks to DROIDX for the PM Walkthru. He got me back to stock DI01 which also enabled me to rerun verizons OTA/DL09. I was originally doing this to return my phone back to verizon for warranty issue but the new software actually fixed my issue. Thou da man X. My fascinate is only 2 months old I was kinda bummed that I was gonna get a preowned replacement. Thanks again.

Thanks for DL09 file, I was able to flash my phone and get it working. Right afterwards I was able to OTA to the EA28 software that Verizon just released By the way, is the EA28 software going to available in an Odin file also?

3 questions for you DroidXcon: 1.) Once I flash back to stock DL09, should I be able to grab the OTA update for EA28? 2.) Do I have to have all VZW OTA updates to current in order to grab the official OTA Froyo release later this month? 3.) Will I even be able to upgrade to Froyo by flashing back to stock?

I want to make sure that my phone will even qualify for the offical 2.2 release after following the above instructions. I am currently rooted on the stock EA28 rom. Thanks.

1.)yes
2.)No
3.)dont worry where you are now we have enough odin files to flash you into an updateble state,,,i even have a stock EA28 odin flash tucked away somewhere so no worrys...ill most likely make a odin stock file aswell so you wont even need the OTA
