I keep draggin avi file to movie folder but it says avi is not supported I have same files on my evo4g and works perfectly wat to do???

Drag em over its going to give you that warning unless the files are in its native format, which i believe is mpeg or h.264. Grab any number of free players and you can play. AVI without issue. I've been using Rockplayer lite and testing a few others.

When the warning dialogue comes up when you move/paste the file to the xoom you just click "Yes". Are you really having trouble with this?

Windows xp media center pc. .....u prolly right cause all I see when I go tobmy computer is the xoom as a audio device and I click on it and it opens xoom folders try to drag avi and it says error copying file and says to convert file

I may have found a fix for you. Before you try to drag and drop the .avi file over, rename it with the extension .txt. This won't change anything about the file, but it will fool your computer into thinking it's a text file. Once it's transferred over, rename the file back to the original .avi extension. While I can get files to transfer anyway, this way bypasses the warning dialogue about the file not being playable.
