How to get over someone?

Have you ever been dumped? I think this article is kind of funny but true. However, step #3 provoked anger from many readers in the comments section (see full article).

What does everyone think about the advice given? Don't ask me how or why I stumbled across this

I agree with 99.9% of this article, but I can see why Step 3 was a bit controversial, especially for someone who has been a victim of that. Plus, wouldn't that almost make it an endless loop of people doing that to one another until the end of time? Think about it, you get a "rebound" person, then dump them when you're done with them. Then suddenly that person is trying to get over you, and then they go and get a rebound. So on and so on...

I don't particularly agree with it, but hey, what do I know?
