How to get rid of the deleted file which still shows up in Documents->Downloads.

I deleted a file which I downloaded and the file shows up nowhere when I explore through File Manager. But, when I try to attach a file in gmail, I am seeing the name of the deleted files in Documents->Downloads. How do I get rid of those entries.

Have you tried restarting your phone? You can also try to clear GMail's cache from the Application Manager (clear CACHE, NOT DATA!)

I cleared App Cache and restarted the phone. But no use. I am still seeing the same set of files in Documents>Downloads.

Curious... what happens if you actually select them? Are they attached? Does an error pop up?

Yes. Error pops out if I try to attach that file. My understanding is, this is a bug to show the file which is deleted.

It certainly is a bug! So weird though. Clearing Cache should clear that list. Try clearing cache on the My Files app, see if that triggers a system file re-scan and clears the list.
