Android Central Question

I own a Samsung galaxy Note 10.1. Every time I turn it on I get a blank screen. I've held the power switch and volume down buttons simultaneously for 15 secs but to no avail. All cables are fitted properly, I recharged the battery to find out if that was the reason for not coming on, but I can't tell if the battery is fully charged. It did work at one point, because I've used it before so the problem is either a dead processor or the screen is'nt working

This is the tablet from 2012? That device is quite old, and is running an OS (Android 4.4.2) that no longer has official support for apps. For what it might cost you (or might have already cost you) you could buy a replacement that runs an OS that has app support now and for years to come.

if you cannot even turn it on when it is plugged in, then it may be time to replace it. imo, it is too old to spend money on. I really miss my note 10.1. was really disappointed when Samsung quit it after the second model.

At least they had the common sense to add S Pen support to the Tab S line and some of the Tab A models.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you tell if the tablet is actually on, and the screen is just broken? Does it make any sounds at all?
