How to install custom rom after Knox update

I received a replacement phone pre installed with 4.3 on my sprint galaxy S3. I have clock world mod installed and can get root access but every attempt to install a custom rom like carbon 4.3 fails. All I want to accomplish if possible is to install a custom rom. I've been googling left and right but lots of conflicting info on what IS and what ISNT possible

Thanks for the reply. I have the phone rooted with no problems. Disabled Knox and running with very few issues. My next conquest is trying to get my custom rom to load. Every rom I've tried errors out. Am I screwed on being able to load custom roms?

I was able to load kitkat so I think I'm ok. Running fine so far

My I ask how you got kitkat going? I have my phone rooted, but when I try to boot to recovery I get an error message saying There is software on my phone that isn't approved Verizon

This thread is in the Sprint forum. Verizon phones have, I believe, locked bootloaders that makes things more difficult. You should probably ask in the Verizon rooting forum: Verizon Galaxy S3 Rooting, ROMs, and Hacks - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com
