[HOW-TO] Install Official CM7 Release (Gingerbread) to Internal Memory (eMMC)

Re: [HOW-TO] Install Official CM7 Release (Gingerbread) to Intern

I messed up and I need some help!!!

I initially created a bootable SDCARD and enjoyed that however I figured I would never use the default Nook so I decided to flash into the system memory. I came across these instructions and I decided to give it a try. I followed all of the instructions except I realized I made one mistake - I did a Factory Reset in CWM instead of just wiping the listed partitions. I followed everything else to the letter however my nook started boot looping with the arrow going around the android while starting to load CM7.

I tried re flashing everything again and followed everything exactly in the instructions - no dice I get the same thing. So I noticed above I can restore the nook to stock. I clicked on the link and followed those instructions to the Letter. I got the default SW to load however it is still boot looping during the boot animation. It loads to the Nook color by Barnes and noble then just keeps reloading that. I've tried all of the files and still no luck.

Anyone please help!!! I would like to get it back to stock so i can properly put CM7 in the internal memory. Thanks!!

Thanks that worked! However now when I'm trying to get into CM settings it force closes. Any ideas what's causing that?

I upgraded to the latest nightly and it resolved all the issues I was having. Great so far!!! Thanks for the thread and the help!

Re: Boot in to Recovery

I cannot boot in to recovery with CM7 on my Nook Color.

I have tried through ROM Manager and by holding down the N key while powering up. Neither seems to work. Any suggestions? I have installed clockwork through ROM Manager.

I installed stable cm7 7.0.3 on my nook color, to find out that the pop up keyboard didn't come up. Went back to install it using said directions and ran into this problem.

I also receive the Messages on Clockwork Mod Recovery (V3.2.0.1 found on XDA Forums)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't mount / cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

I've tried wiping data/factory reset to no avail.

If anyone has tips or info on solving this problem Please let me know. I also have been looking throughout the webs like a druggie trying to get high.
