How to keep charger cover sealed?

I just got a wireless charging pad/receiver, so I don't have to use the flap anymore. However, I feel like it's gotten a little loose as it opens up sometimes randomly. Should I tape it down or what can I do?

Mine doesn't seal well either. You can find new covers on eBay for a few bucks each, but they come from China so it may take a w.eek or more.

If you are careful around water than I wouldn't worry about it. To get a replacement cover is going to cost around $19. That's a lot considering what it is.

I know $20 is ridiculous but IMO it's not worth risking, even if you do tape it up.

Thank you! I'm just a little concerned if it's really OEM or not. I'm afraid the ip67 rating for water resistance will be safe as I plan on taking this phone to the pool and beach this summer.
