i just flashed the blue cross amend version bootup, and it does not look like it does in the animated preview. in the preview the cross is upright and centered, on my screen it is slanted and slightly off center. Just wondering if a reflash might fix this or if that is just how it looks on the phone.

Hmmmm,

I will download a copy an see if it is the phone or the images in the boot..

Edit: This would almost appear to be a phone related issue.. I do not see it askew on my phone and there are no image issues in the download.. I got.. I would suggest a fresh download and reflash - if that does not correct the issue.. it may be phone related.

No luck with a new download and flash. I dont know if this makes a difference, but i wiped cache and dalvik cache before flashing. Oh well, I really like like that boot animation but you have so many awesome ones in this thread that its no biggie.

I am of the belief that is phone/ROM or hardware related. The image files are centered, and the desc.txt file that dictates how the images are displayed are all in order..

Sorry about that.. I have been releasing about 3 boots a week.. hope the rest work well for you..

The exact same thing happened to me with the Blue Cross edify version.

Same thing here Jae...the cross is slanted and off center to the right. I flashed it like it says. Im gonna replace it with something else, and then try and just move the zip file over using Root Explorer and see if that makes a difference...

EDIT: deleted boot animation zip file, extracted the bootanimation.zip file and manually placed in /system/media and STILL offcenter and slanted

Edit: I have removed the links.. It appears that there is a corrupted download or it was corrupted in the upload. I will try to re-edit it over the weekend.. it may have been from the video render/conversion.. I have had this problem before with wallpaper conversions from png to jpg files.

Sorry guys - sometimes in production things look good and I test it on my phone it all is well - - - send it a few thousand miles miles around the internet and things get kinda messed up..

I just open the AOSP clock and it shows a percent while it charges..not a great answer, but it works..

You can check in with sbrissen and he may have some mods that will do that - I also know that Chris3D has some battery mods as well... I have not seen a batt mod for percent for charging specific to ED01..

I have not seen any "just battery" mods for ED01.. I will keep my eyes open..

If you are running Comm ROM you have the 6 lock screens mod. If you use the AOSP or rotary locks and the screen is off, you can hit the power button and the current battery % is shown on the screen. If you want that to constantly stay on the screen, just check stay awake in menu=>settings=>applications=>development. Then after plugging the phone in, just hit the power button to put the screen to sleep then hit the power button to wake up the screen again. Because stay awake is checked, the screen will stay on but locked and the % will be displayed and update as it is charging.

EDIT - I just tried and the charging % also shows up with the 4 tab lock screen.

Thanks sharky, i knew of the 4 tab doing it cause i am using that one. didnt know of the other good find on those. just thought would be cool to see it up top as well say if someone wasnt using one of those lock screens. Thanks again!! also I love the miui lock screen thats why I wanted it.

Yeah, I knew it changed the appearance...but the only way that would help me is if it changed it to transparent!

Ive been running this theme since he released it as well...
And yesterday morning, I restored my device to the CommRom with no theme because I was testing other themes...and yesterday evening, I flashed the Chrome BACK on, and the instant it booted up, the 3G icon went away and there was no data connection. I tried a few things and ended up restoring BACK to CommRom with no theme and all worked fine. So I did a reset on everything and then reflashed the Chrome theme and as soon as it booted up, no 3G. Ive sense just removed that theme all together and everything is working fine!!

STUMPED!!!

On the edify CWM, is anyone elses "back" option that is at the bottom of each menu screen been disable? Mine even says 'back button disabled'. And I tried zipping the Visual Voicemail file and it failed saying it was 'bad'? Am I just having tons of abnormal issues, or can someone else replicate these as well?

PLEASE HELP!
