I would imagine that it would flash.. You should not have any problems... You can always remove it - just an app.

Is there a non-voodoo overclock/undervolt kernel?

I have SC2.9.2 with EC10 Non-voodoo. With a Gingerbread theme. Is there an overclock/undervolt kernel for this setup? If there is, (noob alert) how do I install it?

Check out http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...t-animations-combined-resource-4-19-11-a.html Go to post 4 and flash in clockwork a kernel of your choosing. Make Sure you get a Non voodoo one. Imnuts has a -50 undervolted and a -100 undervolted, I used the -100 and worked well when I was running Non Voodoo. Just flash like normal in Clockwork. You will see blue letters flashing...All is well. Good luck!

Ok...a newbie question...I currently have SC 2.9.2 with the comavolt nv kernal. I am wanting to try the EB01 Blackhole Version 4.4. I know its flashed via CWM, but do I do all the data wipes before or after I install the new ROM? Also, if I install this ROM, what is a good kernal to go with it? And lastly, I did a benchmark test today using both Quadrant and Smartbench 2011 and my results were quite depressing. What are some tips to improve my results? And is there anything out there that can let me access the full 1GH processor vs/ the 800Mhz that the test results said I was using?

Wipe before install. Stick with the kernel you have unless there is a recommendation in the OP.

Speed tests are not something I have invested much in.. they can only tell you so much.. Actual performance of the phone is a better gauge. You have to shop around until find what you find suits you..

So far, I REALLY REALLY like this ROM. VERY smooth and minimal apps loaded. GREAT bloat removal. Any positives/negatives about this ROM from anyone? Just testing to see whats good, bad, and ugly.

Was giving Evil Fascination 3.3.1 the flasher's eye today and decided..there are too many goodies floating around...I've got to withdraw myself from this perpetual market of combinations....it's like a veritable candy store, and I feel myself getting weak to flash like 50 things in a row.I really just keep telling myself to wait for the ED01 ODIN package or community rom....must withdraw to the comfort of SC 2.9.2 ..

I was in the same boat as you today. But on my day off decided to try Evil Fascination 3.3 and dont think im looking back until community rom comes out. 2.9.2 was amazing though so may look back lol!! I say flash it and give it a whirl you will thank me for pushing you!!

I have been on and off Evil Fascination two times - it is worth a try. If you do not like it you can easily switch back to 2.9.2 until the Community ROM is released.

Community ROM will make an appearance... patience is appreciated.

When you say "old style market" - What version are you running?

Current version is 2.3.6..

If it is not updating you can also clear the Market cache and it may trigger the update.
