How to make a downloaded ringtone a contact's ringtone?

I have a Droid Turbo. I downloaded a ringtone that I want to set as a contact's ringtone. I see it in my downloads, but when I try to find it when I edit my contact, it is not there. How do I move it to the list I see of ringtones to choose?

Use a file manager like Total Commander (in landscape mode you get a split screen, so it's easier to move files). Move the files from Download to Ringtones. While Media Manager finds all media files, Contacts only uses ringtones in the Ringtones folder.
