The problem is that google made daydream to use as a screensaver while docking or charging so it doesn't meant to use as a lockscreen.
I really want to use daydream as a lock screen because it looks very nice and there is a lot of customized apps for it.
I have overcome the problem of touch to wake by an aapp called jellydream and an app that manually sets up daydream but now my problem is how to get it automatically kick in.
My Nexus 4 isn't rooted unfortunately
