How to make Handcent default SMS software.

I have an EPIC 4g and have handcent but cant figure out how to use handcent as the default messaging. I was hoping to replace the messaging icon with handcent

Go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Messaging
There scroll a little clear defaults, then go to your contacts make like you're gonna send a message and when the pop up comes up check the default and select Handcent

If you're using the stock Tw launcher just launch the apps, press the "settings" soft key, the press "edit" tfind and long press Handcent and drage over the stock messaging

How do you change the handcent to your default on a Galaxy S? None of these instructions are helping me.

ok... i did the drag method and it worked great....however, i just received a random txt and it came thru as the 'stock type' txt....how can i ensure that all txts come thru via the handcent method???
