How to manual update to stock 3.29.651.5

How do I update a rooted stock EVO to stock 3.29.651.5 without losing anything?

So I'd still need to use Titanium backup to save all my apps/settings and something else to backup my SMS/MMS, flash ROM, then restore everything, right?

Is it safe to assume that a stock rooted EVO cannot be updated in the same manner that a non-rooted EVO can (i.e. not having to restore things)?

Sure it can... If your on a custom Rom and a new version comes out usually you can just flash that one over...
