How to pair my phone to a Kia Soul

I'm trying to pair my phone to a Kia Soul but the soul won't see my phone on the display. But what's weird is it my phone will see the soul and its display. What am I missing here?

Go to a kia dealer, find a salesman that's been working there more than a month and have them pair it for you.

If I am not mistaken if your phone sees your car you can select it through your phone and your car should register that something is trying to connect and you go from there with the pairing process. That is what I did since the phone recognized the car instantly and worked like a charm that way.

Thanks all! After trying it a bunch of times I'm not sure what I did differently but the Kia finally recognized it!

Let's hope I don't need to do that again!
