Hey everyone... I am one of many users trying to disable the always-listening Google Voice feature. I have Android 5 running on a Galaxy S5.
The procedure that many ppl have outlined on various forums does not work, as follows: Access Google App>Settings>Voice>"OK Google" Detection and disable with the slider switch. I have crosschecked that the disable status is in place by also going into Settings>Personal>Language and Input>Google Voice Typing to verify that the slider switch is indeed off. Speaking "OK Google" STILL activates a search. Is there any updated information on this procedure as of July 2018? I want it *OFF*. Thanks in advance for any solution.
