Probably not an S22 Ultra device specific issue since I also encounter this on my Tab S7, but is there any way to stop this "preview" from popping up in the address bar in Chrome? Every time I open Chrome, I start to type a search or URL into the address bar and once I'm a few keystrokes into it, the preview disappears and it clears out what I just typed into the address bar, so I have to start over. So annoying. Please tell me there's a fix for this. Screenshot_20220825-154857_Chrome.jpg

that doesn't happen at all in Chrome on my S22U when I type in a URL

From what I understand, that's just part of Chrome, and shows up when the browser is waiting to bring up the most current page (at which point it'll tell you that you're viewing a live page). It might have to do with a delay with the server, or with your network. Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

I was able to find a solution for this thanks to an old Reddit post. Apparently this is a thing that's been around for a while, but is pretty random doesn't necessarily affect everyone.

Go to: chrome://flags/#paint-preview-startup

First option is "Paint Preview Startup." Set it to Disabled and that's it.
