I got a new device (Axon ZTE 7 mini) and according to your post at https://www.androidcentral.com/how-restore-your-apps-and-settings-new-android-phone, Android should ask me during setup, from which backup I'd like to restore.
But for this account and/or device, Android just doesn't ask me. Why, oh why?
I do have backups enabled on my other devices (Honor 6X with EMUI and Neuxs 5 and Nexus 7 with LineageOS). I do see the backups in Google Dashboard and in Google Drive => Backups.
Why's that so? Please see attached screenshots as well.
