How to root Galaxy S3 (Sprint) with Android 5.0 ROM installed?

I installed an unofficial cyanogenmod 12 rom on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (Sprint), I did a backup of my whole image but I can't recover my backups unless my phone is rooted. I can't figure out how to root my phone. It seems to me that most of the roots only works on Android 4 or something. Can someone help me please? I lost some important family photos...

Are you trying to root CyanogenMod or the stock ROM? (You root the ROM, not the phone.)
