I'm just waiting on the how to unroot method to come out then its game on.

Re: [HOW TO] Root, Unroot, Hotspot, Roms, Tips and more! (5 video

Those waiting for the unroot how-tos were smarter than I.... I have a rooted SIII that won't load past the "Samsung Galaxy SIII" Loading screen. Any thoughts on how I can get past this?

AWESOME thread, thank you!

Still unrooted, my issue is that my at-home machine is a mac (mbpro) and my work machine is Windows 7 with some heavy security in place.

I may try logging into my developer account on this machine and then running through the process, just currently, I'm a bit apprehensive with this work machine locking me out from any services this method might rely on because of the security that corporate has installed on these machines.

Never rooted before, but very nervous about doing this.

Just watch QB's video a few times and get everything lined up before you move onward.

If you have any questions stop and ask before going forward.. A few minutes, hours of waiting on a proper answer/response will save you a world of headaches.

I have noticed that from Heiro and Zharris. Lesson I got out of that is always backup.

I noticed the version of Odin jumped from 3.04 to 3.07 between the official Root and Unroot vids you posted - does it make a difference which version is used to root the device? Is it always best to use the most current?

Re: [HOW TO] Root, Unroot, Hotspot, Roms, Tips and more! (7 video

Sooooo... No need to unlock the bootloader?

Re: [HOW TO] Root, Unroot, Hotspot, Roms, Tips and more! (7 video

Just follow the directions in his updated video and it should work 100%

Shouldn't...I was actually having problems with 3.07 freezing on me, so I want back to 3.04 and had no problems.
