If you do a dir, do you see adb listed? Also, it seemed like I had to do this:
adb push c:/su /sdcard/su
(inserting the full path for where the su is located on my hard drive)
Dang Cory your on the ball!
That works for x64 machines also?
Ok, I think i figured adb out..... I was running the adb command out of c:/fasinateRoot,(what I named it) rather then c:/fascinateRoot/tools (where it appears adb is located..... Does it sound correct in saying that adb needs to be run out of tools, rather then the main folder?

Ok, ill try that.... thanks for the info. On another note, does anyone know if the rooting without a pc works on this phone as it does on the Vibrant by using the update file?
Edit: I went ahead and removed the environment info and made it even easier in the instructions so you can see that you have to use the full path name. ie C:\fascinate\ and C:\android-sdk\tools hope this helps
Yes it does unless you actually added adb to your path in your environment variables.

A really cool root required app in the market, is AdFree. It blocks ads in web pages. If you are able to run it, then you have root. That's one way you can test.
