How to *selectively* silence incoming rings?

I just switched from an HTC M8 to an Honor 8. In my previous phone, I could turn the ringer for all incoming calls silent except for calls from those on my Favorite list, simply by turning down the ringer volume, and choosing an appropriate radio button. I don't see that option when I lower the ringer volume on my Honor 8.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

I'd like to turn on this feature every night at bed time and enable all calls to ring during the day. How would I go about doing that then?

Once you have chosen a ringtone for your family group. It's just a case of changing the universal tone from none to a ringtone each morning. It's not a perfect solution, I see that, but allows the effect you desire.
