How to set auto answer when Bluetooth device connected?

I don't know the answer (or even if there is an answer), but doesn't your bluetooth headset have an "answer" button? On mine, the center button will initiate a call (long-press; with voice prompts) or answer an incoming call. The other two buttons are (short-press) volume up/down and (long-press) next/previous track when listening to music.

hello, this is for bluetooth connection for my car. I would like the phone to auto answer so that I do not have to push any button. My previous phone had this option to auto answer when a call came in. From the forum, earlier versions of android has this auto answer setting but I have not found it in jellybean.

You may want to try Tasker for this. Not sure if it can do this when it doesn't appear to be a feature on the phone. But it's pretty handy for certain things like this.

This may be a settings option not available on all devices. I have it activated on my Note 2, which answers regardless of Bluetooth state.

It crossed my mind, maybe there's an app for that? I searched and found a few that seem about right:

This also leads me to wonder about your car's audio system: factory or third-party add on? Search the play store; maybe the manufacturer has posted an app of their own.

I think this is part of TouchWiz.

I was able to set auto answer on a very old Nokia, two Samsungs and an iPhone paired with my Bury bluetooth cradle in my car. Unfortunately, the very lovely Google rep told me that the Nexus 4 'doesn't appear to have that capability' which seems unbelievable, but would appear to be the case. Google needs to sort this out with an OTA fix.

I had a samsung galaxy s4 and it had the feature to auto answer calls on any blue tooth device paired with the phone. You could set the time after which the call could be answered. Now i have moved to sony xperia z2 android 4.4.4kitkat and my plantronics bt head set which is paired to it and my car bt set paired to it have no facility to auto answer any incoming call and i need to press the button to answer. This is a problem especially when i'm operating with my gloves on and i need someone to press the answer button on my plantronics bt head set.
Can you suggest how to circumvent this problem or a good app which will help me.
