How to set volume buttons to turn on screen?

By default, when screen is blank, "finger print" button is used to turn it on. But I'd like to set volume button to do so instead.

I am not sure you can set this with Moto's stock ROM. I use RedPill in which it can be done.

I read about Red Pill but the "known bugs" part is kinda scary...

you don't have to be rooted, just use this app: https://market.android.com/details?id=org.jraf.android.nolock&hl=en. it does exactly what you want it to do

What do you mean when you say it didn't work for you? Did you try the app? If so, what was your issue with it?
