Does anyone know of a wallpaper and unlock screen that is black?
When in grayscale mode, a black pixel is treated as "off", thus using the least amount of power. It provides the greatest amount of contrast for any other gray or white tone in the grayscale mode. It projects the least amount of light in any mode (color orgrayscale) thus attracting the least amount of attention when sneaking a peak at phone at night or in a theater, not that I would do that.... :)

Try taking a photo in a dark room with your thumb over the camera lens.

Then set that as your homescreen and lock screen wallpaper.

Google pure black wallpaper for galaxy s5.

yes true black will have the pixels off...something slightly off black may still have the pixels draw a bit of power. But you can tell if it's close to true black because the black will look like it does when the screen is off.
