How to show full application names (labels) in the Home screen shortcuts?

I've tried thousand search phrases - Google seems to complete ignore that common issue.
I have all shortcut labels shortened for some unexplainable reason (no matter which text size I set - it just puts some more letters to the name and abrupts it (cuts with ...) e.g. "Google Drive" and "Google Chrome" are shown as "Google ...")
Is there some way to cancel this irritating issue? On earlier versions of Android everything was fine.

Which device ?
Your using stock launcher or 3rd party?
3rd party can change those shortcut
