How to stop notification sounds still happening in Do Not Disturb Mode, Galaxy S6

I've set up my Samsung Galaxy S6 with Do Not Disturb Mode with exceptions for a favorites. Last night I received a call from a non-favorite. It didn't ring but did make a noise to indicate a missed call. This makes no sense, as it still woke me up. I've tested it out this morning and it's happened each time, all the while in do not disturb mode. Is this a glitch or is there something I'm missing? Thx

There is an option to allow repeated calls from the same person (within 2 minutes). It it checked?

hmm mine does not make any noise for missed calls... have you enabled notification reminder?
maybe try switching on silent
