How to stop the browser address bar from hiding?

My browser bar keeps hiding while using the internet and its driving me nuts.
I went into settings and unchecked the "Fullscreen" option but its still hiding itself.

What am I doing wrong?

you failed to specify which browser you use..


and scrolling up should bring the status bar back into view, no?

I'm assuming you are using the stock browser. Sometimes when I barely scroll up the menu comes back. Sometimes I have to scroll more. It is annoying. I noticed If it doesn't pop right up, I can barely pull down the notification bar and let it go- it pops right up then. Not sure why it does this.

My apologies...yes, the stock browser.
So are you guys implying that I cannot lock the stock browser?
I cant lock the Chrome browser either. Very annoying.
