How to uninstall icon when app is uninstalled

I'm new to Android and have a Droid X. I installed an app from the market called Amazon. What installed was an Amazonmp3 app, not what I expected. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled the Amazon app again from the Market. It was what I expected, and not the Amazonmp3 app. I noticed that the Amazonmp3 app icon is in my program list.
I have two file manger apps and thru them tried to find the Amazonmp3 icon. I'm having zero luck...any ideas?
