Question How to Unlock a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Without a Password?

I set up a screen lock on my son's new Galaxy S7 Edge while testing it in the store, but now I forgot the password and he can't use the phone. Is there any way to remove the password or reset the phone without losing access? Any help would be appreciated!

Are you sure that's the right phone? That model is 9 years old, so no current store would be selling it.
