Question How to use my old samsung edge 7 as a webcam?

Hi

I wish to record my dog actions and barking using my old samsung edge 7.
I read to open setting and click connected device but there is no connected device option that i can see.
I intend to use jitsimeet to open a meeting and record the meeting with my main pc so that i can review it when I come back. Ihave wifi. I have a wire to connect the cell phone to a laptop .

I guess i have 2 questions .

1 is it better for connection and better video recording to use the cellphone as a camera connected with a wire to a laptop on my wifi modem or would it be better to open the jitsi meet weblink directly from my old cell phone that does the camera? Maybe laptop have better wifi antenna? maybe using the laptop in between diminishes the speed? i dont know .

Atm I am testing if the cellphone can even be used as a camera . On my main pc i open a https jitsi and create a meeting but the software keeps on telling me i have no camera permission . the mic is ok. Iguess i have to solve this issue regardless of what option I choose for question 1.

i think your phone support camera sharing, in sittigs, then connected devices, when you enable this feature, you are able to make video call and google meet and sure in jitsi too
