The red text (emphasis mine) is what made me think the SD Card gets formatted.

Perhaps you could edit where it says 'internal SD Card' and change it to 'internal memory'? Or am I the only person who was confused by this (you can be honest - LOL).

good thought. done.

ok i think i messed something up, i was updating in cwm red from sc2.9.1 nonvoodoo to sc2.9.2voodoo.
i wioed cache and wiped dalvik, then installed sc2.9.2voodoo then went to voodoo and clicked enable voodoo it said enable voodoo on startup or something like that, and then i dropped the phone and the battery popped out so i put it back in and rebooted the phone , the phone was talking as it should but stayed on the boot screen for about 30 minutes so i knew something was wrong so went back into recovery and repeated everything minus the fumble and this time after i clicked reboot it didnt talk to me and it loaded in like 1 minute. any ideas on what i should do? also i would like to keep voodoo

report back

OK... So I got voodoo up and running on SC 2.9.1.

I ran Quadrant pre-voodoo and barely got 1000... Now with voodoo I am getting 1550 - 1650.

Just wondering if this sounds right. It seems to be running a bit snappier at least. Nothing earth-shattering... Just a bit faster on a few things.

Hell yeah! Oh I got my 2.9.2 Voodoo up and running last night thanks to your write up, loving it! Scored 1601. One question though, I understand the bit about disabling lagfix before going back to a nv kernel and was wondering if it also applies when going from one voodoo rom to another voodoo rom when doing complete wipes (d cache, cache, data/factory)?

a rom is neither voodoo or non voodoo. some roms come wiht the kernels built in, and the kernel is what is voodoo or not. you only need to disable lag fix if you go from voodoo to non voodoo.

That's what I meant to say, thanks for clearing that up. The wait for kernels begins!

good man. i am gonna start a campain to teach folks how to check if they have voodoo.

Hey, what can I say... I learn from the best! You have been extremely helpful in me learning all of this stuff, gm53... it's a nice feeling that I can actually start providing answers to others who have the same questions that I once had
