How to Voodoo ***Updated 27 Mar 2011***KERNEL BUILT FROM SOURCE/SOUND/UNDERVOLTED

This is just the kernel from the 2.9.2 SC build

It's not in the 2.9.2 build. These kernels came out after Adrynalyne released 2.9.2. Adrynalyne used the previous EC10 kernels in 2.9.2. The kernel_update is an undervolted kernel compiled from the EC10 kernel jt1134 released on the 26th. Adrynalyne released 2.9.2 on the 23rd.

Well I've tried flashing it 5 times now and it's still having the same freezing issues. Still don't understand why it's only me but I guess I'll just stick to my previous kernel. Oh well, maybe someday sound amp...someday...

Delete all traces of the kernel you are trying to install, and then download it again. Sounds like it could be a bad download. Voodoo audio is sooooo worth the frustration.

Agreed. I've never been big on listening to music on my phone, but this is the real deal.

Every day my phone seems to get better and better!

No joke!!! I have always loved my SF but these new kernels and SC 2.9.2 got it running on roids lol. Cant wait to see what else the devs put put!

I experienced a glitch when I did the Voodoo lagfix on my phone last night and wanted to share it with folks here. I don't know if anyone as run into this problem already or not (I didn't search the forums exhaustively), but here it is:

When you do the lagfix conversion you need to make sure you have at least 2Gb (the amount of internal memory on the Fascinate) free on your SD card so the software can backup your files to do the conversion. If not, the lady android voice will tell you that there is not enough space on your SD card and abort the conversion.

ive been reading alot of positive things about the voodoo sound, do you have to have the voodoo version of the kernel to be able to utilize voodoo sound? I would assume yes, but I thought I read somewhere that some of these new nonvoodoo kernels utilize it also.

Did anyone else loose Google navigation when installing the Andyniline's undervolted kernal from the superclean thread? I lost navigation and could not re-download it from the market. It would not even show up. Tried reinstalling from titanium backup, and the backup file was missing. After flashing back to a different kernal, navigation reappeared. Strange. Anyone else had this happen?

Well I tried flashing nemesis new kernel and the same exact thing happened. Am I doomed to never flash any other kernels again? There has to be a setting on my phone I'm missing. I've read every single guide and I can't find anyone else having this problem.

Is it a link or zip file because it's not showing up down there.

Edit - Weird...now I can see them. Wasn't loading the page all the way I guess.

Kernels gave me trouble last night, I flashed EB01 fix-all, then flashed dark revenge and times infinity kernel in the same CWM session and it came up if I remember correctly. I would flash the rom, and then the kernel if that doesn't work. Run EB01 fix all via odin inbetween failures.

You have to sign up on XDA to get the links...

I'm trying to think of something you may be missing. If memory serves correctly, you may need to flash the Voodoo version of Superclean before you flash the Voodoo kernel. I know I flashed the Voodoo version of the ROM before I flashed a Voodoo kernel. Maybe try that approach if you haven't.

Might be the problem. I've been flashing the 2 separately.

So I tried flashing Peanutbutta jelly time kernel and it said in CWM install complete and then I went to reboot and it went back to CWM after the samsung logo popped up twice. So then I was going to try flashing the rom again but it said failed. Then I flashed back to EC10 (the one that was working) it said completed and then I rebooted but now it is stuck on the samsung title screen. Its been on it for 5 min now. Something seems wrong
