How was your first time with Google Wallet?

Having trouble adding the 10 dollar card as well......I keep getting errors

It took 20 minutes for my card to add but it finally did. You need to click to add the card and then leave it for 30 minutes or so.

I stopped in a CVS yesterday and used it for the first time to buy some toilet paper, and the girl behind the counter must have heard about it, because she asked "ooh you got that??" after I tapped the phone to the terminal. very cool stuff, going to use it at the Mets game tomorrow

I haven't personally had weird experiences on things like that where I thought I was the only one around for miles who knew about these things. More and more people, normal people at least, seem to be embracing the Google way. My girlfriend on 4 different occasions now has gotten a: "OMG Is that the Nexus". And even one person had one and asked her where she got the case I got for her.

Just tried it on the drive-thru in Jack in the Box and it didn't work. It dinged and said it read it, I pressed done, but nothing happened. Tried it three times. I'll try it again on my way home and see how it goes.

I used it at 7-11 and it worked flawlessly.

I used my 10 bucks to buy a 6 pack of Lagunitas IPA and some beef jerky. Thanks Google.

Of all the places in the US, I generally find Vegas the least difficult to spend money...in any fashion!

There's not Jacks around here so this is probably a dumb question; but, do they actually accept paypass there or just blink? lol.

I have yet to see a NFC CC Machine without both though.

I've been going crazy with it. I tried it first at McDonald's and the cashier fliipped out saying "Man! Those iPhones just do everything huh?" I quickly killed that noise and educated her, showing her the "Google" logo on the back of my phone. Then I went to Best Buy and bought Gears of War 2, then to CVS and bought some medicine and chips. Oh yeah, flawless each time.

Why do I have to enter my social security number,birthdate and my credit card to be able to transfer funds to the google card? You'd think the credit card information would be good enough to transfer from credit card to google card.

Damn, makes me wanna go out and use my $10 just to experience it! So far I haven't been anywhere, but the free $10 showed up on the first try and took only about 10 seconds.

Stopped at a CVS to try it out. Bought some cookie mix and sour patch candy. I got a satisfying "no way!" from the cashier, who went on to say how computers used to be the size of their whole store, haha! The whole transaction (not including the rambling) only lasted a few seconds. Very smooth!

Getting ready to go thru the set up. If you don't mind me asking, is the majority using the google prepaid or the CitiMastercard. Just curious. And if you start with one can you switch to the other at a later date.

According to the Google Wallet website you can add funds to the google card for no change now. But it may incur a charge later.

Hello everyone and sorry for asking such silly questions but i like to know the following:

1. Where can you use Google wallet? I notice when i go to shopping they swipe your card through a machine. Well a sign be posted saying GOOGLE WALLET accepted here?

2. I dont have a citicard just my debit cards with visa and MC on them. So i can i use this?

3. A coworker of mine told me that you can also store your store card numbers you know like the ones you get at the grocery store.

For your first question you can use it where ever paypass is taken, there's an app in the market that you can use which is called paypass locator
And second yea you can use your MasterCard debit cards
