How was your first time with Google Wallet?

1. Where can you use Google wallet? I notice when i go to shopping they swipe your card through a machine. Well a sign be posted saying GOOGLE WALLET accepted here?

no there are no google wallet signs posted. use the app mentioned before my reply or this link MasterCard PayPass Locations | PayPass Reader & Terminal Locations| MasterCard?. 2. I dont have a citicard just my debit cards with visa and MC on them. So i can i use this?

If you sign up for the Google Prepaid card option, Google will give you ten dollars and you can also put your own money on it. More cards will be available soon, like Visa.

3. A coworker of mine told me that you can also store your store card numbers you know like the ones you get at the grocery store.

right now there are two partners that you can add. American Eagle and another one I forget.

Getting ready to go thru the set up. If you don't mind me asking, is the majority using the google prepaid or the CitiMastercard. Just curious. And if you start with one can you switch to the other at a later date.

According to the Google Wallet website you can add funds to the google card for no change now. But it may incur a charge later.

Google prepaid gives ya a free $10 so worth activating just for that as who knows how long they'll be giving it. You can switch cards at any time between the two, just open the app and you'll see.

Well I was runnning CM7 and I could not let this go by....So I went back to Stock rooted and updated to be able to use google wallet....I had all of the people at the McDonalds Going crazy.....the Girl at the front says "did you just pay with your phone" someone elese in the back of the line says "oh There's an app for that" and asks me "is that the Iphone 4" I said Nope its the Samsung Nexus S 4G powered by pure Android.....Everyone wanted to know how it worked....Too Funny.

I just used it at McDonalds and the lady at the register was totally shocked. It was pretty cool I just opened the app entered my pin and felt the vibrate and out came my receipt.

I just say no its Google. And they go Google makes phones?

Sometimes I just say no 5. People use to ask me all the time if the epic 4g was an iPhone. Again gave up and just told people. Yea. The new one with the keyboard attatched.

I wonder if anyone,based off that, ever went to apple or att at the time and asked thhem if they had the new iPhones with real keyboards.

I went to Jamba Juice today and couldn't get the sale through. The phone vibrate and said it good.
But the sale didn't work. Weird. I wonder if the cashier has to hit credit before I tap my phone?

I'm pretty sure the cashier would have to hit credit on there end. Otherwise the register isn't waiting for payment via credit and is waiting for the cashier to finish with the sale.

I have yet to see a NFC CC Machine without both though.

I tired 7 eleven.... it work for me at 7 Eleven...

I love me some Google Wallet!

I got the update around 2pm CST on 9/23. I set up the prepaid card and received my free $10.
The transaction at Braums(a regional ice cream, dairy and burger joint) failed for some reason three hours later. I wonder do some places need to press credit first and some don't.

When I went to CVS, a few minutes later, the transaction went very smoothly. I told her, "I'm gonna try paying with my phone." "The clerk said, "Technology, you're amazing and baffling"

I plan on keeping around $20 - $40 on the prepaid card at a time.

Tried it today and i absolutely love it.And just think i wanted to trade for a Evo 3D at one point.The transaction went smooth and fast.From now on i am a Google fan boy.Good job Google.It amazes me how.Facebook ticked me off and Google put a smile on my face.That has to stand for something lol.

People take Facebook too seriously. Lol. I never even notice the changes. Google made me love Samsung devices again. Even though ill never buy another Samsung phone unless it's every nexus from here on out. Lol.

I may have to flash back tomorrow and give it a try. I have yet to. Set it up flashed back. Stock phone got the ota. Set it up. Set up was easy with no problems. Getting anxious. Lol.

I told her that it would work because it had the paypass sticker, but she thought I was trying to steal of something.

When it finally went through she was in a "technological awe" and I was on my way with my Gatorade


I don't know if the world is ready for this yet. Just remember this we are the only phone that can do this...

Sounds like Google Wallet is awesome. To bad I gave up my Nexus S 4G before I got a chance to use it. But I'm glad that most people seem to be having a good experience with it.
