I don't bother with screen on time because it doesn't tell the whole story. So far I have no complaints about battery life.I'm at 5 hours and 40 minutes SoT and I'm at 40%. Around 5 hours of standby as well. That's with charging to full out of the box and using smart switch and doing all of my setup plus the security update. Little bit of gaming and some bluetooth setting up my galaxy watch and buds. Location services on. Already blowing my Note 9 out of the water. After the Android 10 update, I was maxing out around 4 hours SoT at 20% battery.
Agreed. I'm pleasantly surprised coming from my S10. There I had to keep my phone on low brightness too. Having adaptive on and being able to see in sunlight is marvelousOne thing for sure the Ultra is an easy all day phone even with 120 Hz on. That 5000 mAh battery really shows.
I'm honestly not impressed. It gets me through the day, but I'm usually putting it on the charger at around 15%. My Note 10+ was always around 40% with similar SOT. I'm gonna contribute that to the 120hz. I was just hoping the extra battery would make them more equal.
On another note this news app is using the accelerometer and gyroscope for some reason. I doubt that's helping the situation.![]()
Never tried Google news, but I doubt it. I like that it's more local based, but after seeing how much it was eating my battery I deleted it.Is this app better then Google News?
