How's your battery life?

Mind also taking a screen shot of the usage details shown below that screen. I'd like to compare to mine.
Here ya go. I'm a little confused why the music app doesn't show up nor does Tapatalk or Textra.

Interesting. My Android OS, Google Play, Android System and Phone Idle all are consuming a crap ton of battery on mine compared to screen usage. Something is off.

Its weird because those are the only 3 things showing up on my usage screen but clearly Im using other apps seeing as the tapatalk icon is in my status bar lol. Yesterday everything was showing in there with "stop" buttons next to the apps I could close. Today, nothing but some system resources. Im not sure I want to question things seeing as the battery is doing great but its a bit odd.

That is strange. Weird reporting stats for sure.

Down to 70% off the charger for 12 hours with just shy of 2 hours screen and time. I'm impressed with this little battery.

Jesus. There's no way I could get that. Impressive.
It seems there's some huge variations in user experience. The post above mine has even better battery life. I'll probably get 6 1/2 to 7 hours but he'd get 8 hours. Bigger than battery life though is performance variations. In a thread on XDA theres major complaints about lag, apps force closing and battery life. I had to post a video of usage to show I wasnt getting any of the issues they were claiming since someone suggested I was "in denial trying to justify the purchase". I can't explain why the drastic differences but it's not a good look for a new device.

Well said. My issue is that standby drain, Android OS, and Google Play services are killing my battery life. It's frustrating as hell coming from a Mate 9. Interesting to Note that in PocketNow's video review of the LG, his battery stats looking very similar to mine. As a result, he's saying he can barely get through a day's usage on a single charge.

I'm not even sure what all play services does but I need to sit down and screenshot all my settings and let you compare them. I've got to have something off that's helping. I don't use Facebook, Snapchat or WhatsApp so I know I save a bit there.

That would be helpful. Thank you. Like you, I also do not use any of this apps. When I do check Facebook, I use Chrome.

I've gotten really good battery life today especially since I'm messing and playing with my phone more than normal. Also got some killer download speeds today. View attachment 254975
