HTC 10 + Nova Launcher 5.X. quick actions

Nova launcher 5.0+ is supposed to allow you to touch and hold icons in the home screens and have a pop up of "quick actions" like Pixel launcher. Mine just gives options of Android versions past. Does anyone have functioning quick actions?

What a long-press gives you depends on the phone and the version of Android you're running - it's always been like that on Nova (both dependent and showing options - 4.3.1 also gives options, but on a Note 3 running KK, I don't get any Pixel-like ones).

I'm on an HTC 10 with Android 7.0 and Nova 5.0

on Android 7.1 haven't heard of the quick actions working on 7.0

The quick actions work with beta version of Nova Launcher.

It doesn't work for all applications but it does work for Gmail (not Google Inbox), EvolveSMS, Hangouts,.....

The Quick Actions are limited to what few apps have them enabled, but I had them before I got Nougat this morning. Then again, I'm on Nova's beta.
